The Macallan Cask Strength is renowned worldwide and is the product of one of Scotland’s most esteemed distilleries. Located on the banks of the Spey river in the heart of Speyside at the Easter Elchies estate, it is spread over 158 hectares (390 acres) of farmland.

The barley that is used in the production of this whisky is grown on 37 hectares (90 acres) of the estate. A new visitor center and distillery building were opened on the property in June 2018. Currently, the distillery has 12 wash stills and 24 spirit stills, with plans to increase production by one-third.
