With this 27-year-old Timeless Series, the Bowmore distillery presents us with a completely exceptional new bottling, a heritage of 240 years of know-how.

Bowmore Timeless Series 27 years old enjoyed 15 years of ageing in Sherry casks and old Bourbon casks before being switched to first fill Oloroso casks where it matured for another 12 years.

Tastings
Colour: auburn.

Nose: very fruity with notes of plums and prunes, aromas of sultana raisins combined with a strong influence of Oloroso. There is a sweet toffee, licorice, grilled orange peels and smoked seaweed.

Palate: it all starts smoothly with chestnut honey and beeswax. Notes of new leather and tobacco are expressed, accompanied by roasted coffee and dark chocolate.

Finale: long with fragrant notes of burnt wood, dried fruits and a touch of incense
