These particular barrels were aged for a decade at Barton 1792 Distillery before being bottled at precisely 92.15 proof, paying homage to the year 1792 and Kentucky being the 15th state to join the Union.<\/p>\n

Here are the tasting notes for the 1792 225th Anniversary Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. The nose exudes flavors of caramel, fruit, and vanilla cream with an underlying scent of cherry or strawberry and even angel food cake.<\/p>\n

On the palate, the initial flavors reveal hints of caramel, oak and brown sugar, followed by a warm and juicy red fruit that is more noticeable than what is found in the 1792 Sweet Wheat.
